Darby established a local Vietnamese swine company in 2003 for the first time in the Korean swine industry. We contributed to the Vietnamese swine industry by providing superior swine genetics, new technologies and education.
Northern GGP
Darby operates four farms in Vietnam, Northern GGP (Great Grand Parents farm), Southern GP (Grand Parents farm), and PS Farm. Darby-Vietnam got the first HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) certification and held AI (Artificial Insemination) seminars for consumers in Vietnam. We regularly support the Vietnamese swine industry by providing scholarships and technical training courses for swine experts as part of corporate social responsibility and have begun publication HEO, the first swine magazine in Vietnam.
